Traditions

I've been working on my scrapbooking again, even though I'm out of town 5 days a week. I did one the other day with a photo of a plate of cookies and the recipe that goes with it. It was mom's Sour Cream Cookie Recipe. One of my all time favorite recipes that she made when I was growing up. I remember getting a glass of ice cold milk and gobbling them down by the stack. I also remember when she told me the key ingredient and my immediate reaction was YUCK! Since this is the exact same reaction Courtney gave me last year when we made these, and now they are on her list of favorites too. Since I'm not much of a cook, I never realized how the traditions/recipes passed down can mean so much, but I guess they really do.
